A thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean regions. Thunderstorms are expected in the interior regions of Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, and the coasts of the Taurus Mountains and Hatay. Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to be generally clear, with temperatures above seasonal norms. In Istanbul, after a three-month drought, rainfall is still very limited. Meteorologist Adil Tek explained the weather forecast for the coming days during a live broadcast on A Haber.
Heavy Rain Alert in the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean
According to forecasts, inland areas of Trabzon, northern Rize and Artvin, the Taurus Mountains in the Eastern Mediterranean, north and east of Adana, and the coasts of Osmaniye and Hatay will be affected by localized showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy.
CLEAR AND PARTIALLY CLOUDY IN OTHER REGIONS
It was reported that skies will be clear across much of the country. Partly cloudy and sunny skies are expected in Central Anatolia, the Aegean, Marmara, and Southeastern Anatolia. Rainless weather is expected, especially in agricultural and tourism regions.
TEMPERATURES ABOVE SEASONAL NORMALS
The Meteorological Service announced that temperatures will rise, particularly in inland areas. Temperatures will be above seasonal norms nationwide, and some cities will experience days reminiscent of summer.
THE WIND WILL BLOW FROM THE NORTH
Winds are expected to be generally light to moderate from the north. This will increase the feeling of coolness, especially along the Black Sea coast.
