Meghan Markle Included a Sweet, Hidden Gesture for Lilibet in Her Post-Concert Instagram

In the last week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have seen Beyoncé and James Taylor live in concert. Days after the Duchess of Sussex posted photos of herself in a skintight blue dress with Harry at the Cowboy Carter Tour, she shared pictures of them meeting Taylor backstage. “In my concert era ❤️🎶 Thanks James!” Meghan wrote.

Meghan wore a cozy navy sweater, trousers, and small Bottega Veneta drop earrings to the show. But the most striking detail in Meghan’s Instagram was not part of her outfit. Rather, it was the book that Taylor was signing. He dedicated it “to Lili,” Meghan and Harry’s 3-year-old daughter. Lilibet will celebrate her fourth birthday on June 4, making it a possible early gift.

Archie just celebrated his sixth birthday on May 6. Meghan posted an Instagram tribute to him, writing, “Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go? (And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special ❤️)”

She shared another post to both Lili and Archie on Mother’s Day. “To these two gems—who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain,’ smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure….being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life ❤️,” she wrote. “I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.’”

Meghan recently spoke about how she manages secret emails for Lili and Archie that she’ll give them when they are teenagers. Most days, she sends the accounts messages with photos, videos, and voice notes of Lili and Archie’s memorable moments. The emails are a “great time capsule,” Meghan said, and “the gift that will cost you nothing, and that will mean everything to your children.”
