Andy Robertson makes Mo Salah feelings clear after Micah Richards criticism

Liverpool star Andy Robertson has insisted Mohamed Salah was "unbelievable" defensively in their 2-0 win over Manchester City after Micah Richards criticised him for not tracking back enough.
Salah was instrumental in Liverpool's first win at the Etihad since 2018 as he finished off a superb corner routine to put the Reds ahead before providing an assist for Dominik Szoboszlai to double their lead.
Liverpool have now edged closer to the Premier League title after going 11 points clear of Arsenal and Salah has been crucial to their huge advantage.
But during the game, Sky Sports pundit Richards questioned whether Salah should get more involved in the game defensively, urging him to drop back during City attacks to help Trent Alexander-Arnold deal with Jeremy Doku on the wing.
Robertson, however, was more than happy with Salah's efforts at the other end of the pitch, calling him "unbelievable" and even saying he was a huge part of helping the team get a clean sheet.
"His work-rate going back the other way was unbelievable today," he told BBC Sport. "Him and Lucho (Diaz) and that was key to us keeping a clean sheet."
Robertson also hailed his game-changing impact going forward after the Egyptian incredibly broke two Premier League records during the game.
Salah is now the only player to have contributed to 40 goals in two separate seasons and he's the first player to record a goal and assist in both games against the reigning Premier League champions.
Robertson admitted Liverpool were lucky to have him amid ongoing contract uncertainty which means the 32-year-old is likely to leave on a free transfer this summer unless there is progress in talks over his future.
"He is in a different world right now and playing out of his skin," Robertson added. "We are very happy to have him, that's for sure.
"I can't be bothered talking about him to be honest! No, he's been unbelievable. A set piece routine worked, which is pleasing. Everyone had a role to play and Mo got the glory of putting it in the back of the net. Another goal and assist."
