This Sunday, the next event in the "Consider Listening" series will take place on the grounds of the Haubrok Foundation's private art and culture center Fahrbereitschaft. Between 2 and 7 p.m., in addition to the discussions, you can view the fantastic exhibition "Consider Listening" on the grounds in Berlin-Lichtenberg, which presents contemporary art with a political focus. At 2:30 p.m., art expert Franziska Kreuzpaintner will lead a guided tour of the exhibition. At 3 p.m., one of the highlights of the day will take place: the artist Alexander Schmid will present his project "Cui Bono? How Parking Spaces Have Changed in Our Residential Streets" (duration approximately 60 minutes). The artist will focus on a street in Berlin and ask how parking space design in the city has changed. He will present cars from the 1980s and compare them with today's cars. The presentation is intended, on the one hand, to draw attention to how much more present cars have become in cities. On the other hand, Alexander Schmid raises the question of how we can improve our cities. The artist wants to demonstrate the size of cars in real life and uses the discussion to present his ideas to a wider audience.

At 4 p.m., a performance will follow, with artists presenting projects for the construction of refugee boats. At 5 p.m., a discussion titled "Art, Freedom, and History – and the Limits of Freedom?" will take place. Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Susan Phillipsz, and Sam Durant will be featured. The event will conclude with a concert by the KNM Berlin ensemble with Kyiv Contemporary Music Days at 6:30 p.m. Registration is not required.
