Long-time Schroders manager: Carlos Böhles wants to integrate investment boutiques and institutional investors

At the beginning of the year, Carlos Böhles founded XO. Consultants Services in Frankfurt together with XO. Consultants. This company focuses on the marketing and sales of a small number of selected investment boutiques.

"We want to bring together excellent investment boutiques that are perhaps not yet so well known with institutional investors in Germany," explains Böhles, emphasizing that they want to combine legal, regulatory and structuring expertise with in-depth knowledge of the institutional investor market in Germany.

Böhles has nearly three decades of experience in the asset management and financial services industry. Prior to that, he spent approximately 16 years at Schroder Investment Management , serving as Head of Institutional Business for Germany and Austria since 2011. He was also a member of the European Institutional Management Team, where he participated in cross-border strategic initiatives and integration projects. He held other leadership positions at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers .

XO. Consultants specializes in advising investment firm management teams, asset managers, and family offices. This includes fund structuring, transaction support, and company formation.
