The outgoing Federal Minister of Health, Karl Lauterbach (SPD), intends to continue to comment on health policy in the future.

Lauterbach wants to continue to comment on health policy in the future
"I will continue to pursue health issues and, of course, comment on health policy issues in general," Lauterbach told the news magazine Politico.
Lauterbach said he would not be a member of the Health Committee, however, noting that the range of issues in health policy is broad.
"There is always something to comment on, there is always something to communicate," Lauterbach said. He had resolved not to criticize "the new minister": "That's not appropriate for a predecessor." Being Minister of Health was his "dream job," Lauterbach said. The traffic light coalition had been "in many ways" better than its reputation.
