The world's largest aircraft manufacturer Airbus NL0000235190 is attracting its shareholders with the prospect of higher profit distributions.

Airbus announces higher dividends
In the future, 30 to 50 percent of the profit will be distributed annually to shareholders as dividends, as the DAX-listed company DE0008469008 announced at the world's largest aviation trade fair in Paris on Wednesday. Previously, Airbus had stated a payout ratio of 30 to 40 percent. Dividends are expected to continue to rise sustainably in the future. For 2024, Airbus had distributed three euros per share, one euro of which was a special dividend.
Meanwhile, CEO Guillaume Faury confirmed his targets for the current year. Airbus plans to deliver approximately 820 commercial aircraft. By the end of May, the company had only achieved just under 30 percent of these targets. Adjusted operating profit (adjusted EBIT) is expected to reach approximately seven billion euros, as planned. Faury is also targeting free cash flow before customer financing of 4.5 billion euros.
