When will it stop raining in Colombia? This is the question thousands of Colombians are asking due to the multiple emergencies reported across the country due to heavy rainfall. Max Henríquez warns that two natural phenomena will come that will reactivate them.
In fact, between March 16 and July 12, 1,430 events related to the winter wave were recorded, 541 municipalities were affected, and several of the 32 departments are on alert.
Landslides and flooding are some of the consequences of the rains in Colombia. In Antioquia, 405 emergencies have been associated with the rains.

In a post by X, the meteorologist said that, according to the weather forecast, two tropical waves will arrive in the country starting tomorrow (July 17) that "will reactivate the rains in Colombia until the weekend."
The expert also shared a weather map for July 16 at 10:40 UTC and a meteorological map depicting atmospheric pressure systems and tropical phenomena.

Henríquez did not specify a specific area. However, authorities recommend that in the event of heavy rains, people should be cautious of landslides, seek a safe place, and stay updated on the official channels of the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology, and Environmental Studies (IDEAM) and the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD).
What's the weather forecast for this week? Where will it rain? According to Ideam, the forecast is for rain of varying intensity , ending the week in regions such as: Orinoquia and Amazon.
In Bogotá, partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected, with rain at different times of the day, throughout the week.
On Wednesday, July 16, rain is expected in the following departments:

- Risaralda
- Antioquia
- Cordova
- Bolivar
- Magdalena
- Cease
- Santander,
- North Santander
- Vichada
