Microsoft reveals the jobs that could disappear because of AI

Whenever people talk about artificial intelligence , they end up with the same debate: there's a lot of fear that this technology could replace our jobs , but this issue is more about the present than the future. Since AI entered our lives, many companies have used this technology not only to reduce costs but also to save money on staff.
Now, Microsoft has just published a study analyzing the professions most at risk of being affected by AI , covering 40 different jobs.
Professions at risk from AI, according to MicrosoftThe report analyzes 80 different types of jobs , and for the study, researchers compared the tasks and functions that humans perform and those that AI systems can perform, also taking into account how effective they can be. One of the sectors where it could have the greatest impact is web development .
This is because many of the functions these workers perform ( programming, creating digital content, or summarizing information ) can be performed very effectively by AI. The report doesn't say all these jobs will disappear, but it does say that companies would consider it to reduce their personnel costs.
In fact, Microsoft reportedly laid off more than 15,000 people this year, arguing that artificial intelligence technology improved their productivity. As mentioned, the report includes a list of 40 potentially vulnerable professions, although what stands out most is that some jobs that previously seemed immutable are now reflected in a list of those potentially replaceable by artificial intelligence in the future.
