Marc Márquez is having a dream season. From pole position and after his impressive sprint race , Márquez took on the Hungarian GP, which ended with another uncontested victory and a new double to his credit , now his seventh in a row.
The start wasn't easy for the eight-time champion. Marco Bezzecchi gained on him in the opening few meters , and shortly after, the two collided in an incident that set off alarm bells in the Ducati pit. Álex Márquez crashed at Turn 1. The start was frantic , with seven crashes in total, highlighting the demanding nature of the new Hungarian track.
At the front, Bezzecchi set a blistering pace . He put together fast laps and opened up a gap of more than a second over Morbidelli and Márquez in just five laps. However, the Spaniard remained calm: he decisively overtook Morbidelli and set off in pursuit of his rival. From then on, he began lapping in the 1:37s, setting a fastest lap and cutting tenths of a second off the lead.

The pressure paid off. On lap 11 , Márquez took advantage of the long main straight and, with the breath of air, executed a perfect overtake on Bezzecchi to regain first place. From that moment on, the script was sealed. In just one lap, he had already gained almost a second on the Italian, who also saw Pedro Acosta closing dangerously behind him.
The Murcian was another of Sunday 's big names . Acosta overtook Morbidelli and moved into third place before charging after Bezzecchi. Although he couldn't catch him for second place, his comeback and solid pace confirmed that he's ready to challenge the best. Ultimately, he crossed the finish line in second place , once again achieving a podium finish that's becoming a habit for him in his debut year.
Behind him, Jorge Martín delivered another of the day's feats . Starting 16th, he overtook rivals at a blistering pace, eventually moving up to fourth after overtaking Morbidelli in the final stretch. A spectacular comeback that reaffirms his position as one of the most competitive drivers on the grid. On the other side of the grid, Pecco Bagnaia could only salvage a ninth place after a modest comeback, far from the expectations placed on the two-time champion.

The crash list included some notable names: Álex Márquez, Joan Mir, Raúl Fernández, Jack Miller, Fermín Aldeguer, and Johann Zarco all crashed out on a track that took its toll. Aldeguer , riding fifth, was one of those who suffered the most losses, missing out on a great opportunity to secure a top-five finish .
At the top, there was no doubt. Marc Márquez crossed the finish line more than three seconds ahead of Acosta and almost five over Bezzecchi . It was his seventh consecutive double , meaning he has now earned 259 points out of a possible 259 over the last seven weekends. A staggering tally that consolidates his dominance and brings him even closer to a historic title.
