Ten Italian talents under 40 called to give their contribution
Sport, art and culture merge together just like the Olympic rings do: an exhibition dedicated to the Art Posters of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games has been inaugurated at the Triennale di Milano .
The exhibition, open until March 15, 2026, is the result of a project promoted by Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and Triennale, created in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) . The Art Posters, original works of art in the form of posters created by ten artists, were divided equally between the Olympics and Paralympics and created by young artists (Under 40) who, with their art, tried to interpret the magic that revolves around an event of global importance.
The five Olympic Art Posters were designed by Beatrice Alici , Martina Cassatella , Giorgia Garzilli , Maddalena Tesser , Flaminia Veronesi , while the Paralympic ones were born from the creativity of Roberto de Pinto , Andrea Fontanari , Aronne Pleuteri , Clara Woods and Giulia Mangoni . Over the years, great artists, such as Robert Rauschenberg , Tracy Emin , Eduardo Chillida and Andy Warhol have been involved to represent the Olympics.
Domenico De Maio , Education & Cultural Director of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 explained: "The Art Posters initiative and the collaboration with Triennale Milano confirm the Foundation's commitment to promoting participatory and inclusive projects that put artists, institutions and organizations at the center, to enhance the country's cultural excellence and leave a lasting symbolic legacy on the path towards the next Winter Olympics and Paralympics".
