Recruiting day Tpl: 70 positions and funds for the Driver Qualification Card

WATCH THE VIDEO SERVICE . “With this new recruiting day we aim to create opportunities for job supply and demand to meet, and also to enhance professional skills that can find a place within the local public transport of our region, with two specific calls for the achievement of the Driver Qualification Card (Cqc). This is a peculiar aspect of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which makes our model unique in the national panorama”. This was underlined by the Councillor for Work, Training and Education of Friuli Venezia Giulia Alessia Rosolen, who today, at the Udine headquarters of the Region, spoke at the presentation of the recruiting day focused on Local Public Transport (Tpl) that will be held on 10 June in Udine, in the spaces of Palazzo Antonini Belgrado (piazza Patriarcato 3). On the same occasion, the two calls for the achievement of the Cqc were also presented. The Tpl Recruiting Day is organized by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region together with the four local public transport companies present in the regional territory: Arriva Udine (Udine), Atap (Pordenone), Azienda provinciale trasporti-Apt (Gorizia) and Trieste trasporti (Trieste).
"The world of work is changing profoundly," Rosolen noted: "The demands of companies, the profiles of workers, and the users are changing. It is changing during employment, thanks to innovative training tools, such as the Ifp (Professional Education and Training) system and the ITS (Higher Technological Institutes) system, which train professionals trained in the fields of automation, digitalization, and logistics. And finally, it is also changing afterwards, in the relationship with users and in the co-responsibility that, for example, public transport companies show in their recruiting processes. It is clear that the success of these paths depends on the ability of companies to be attractive, even compared to large logistics companies with which they compete for the same professional figures. In this sense, the presence of the public, and in particular of the Region, represents an element of value." The companies are looking for staff for a total of 70 jobs: line drivers for local public transport for urban and extra-urban services and vehicle maintenance workers; they are also evaluating "aspiring" bus drivers (currently without a license). The requirements for line drivers are: middle school diploma, possession of a D driving license together with the Cqc people, knowledge of the Italian language, elements of the Office package and, preferably, a basic knowledge of the English language; for vehicle mechanics, instead, knowledge and skills in the field of maintenance and repair of preferably heavy vehicles (mechanics, mechatronics, electronics).
People interested and motivated to work in the profession of road hauler, even if they currently lack the necessary qualifications, can still apply as aspiring drivers for an initial interview with companies, in order to better understand the conditions of employment and take advantage of the regional expense contribution for obtaining the Driver Qualification Card. To apply, you must send your CV by Tuesday 3 June following the instructions found at the link ibit.ly/T9ERE . Also for the 2025 financial year, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region grants contributions for attending courses aimed at obtaining the Driver Qualification Card for the exercise of the profession of road hauler of goods or people, to unemployed or inactive and non-unemployed individuals, with priority for funding for unemployed or inactive individuals. All this in compliance with regulations, controls and monitoring, such as those carried out by the Infrastructure Directorate” concluded Rosolen.
