A batch of Salame Felino PGI has been recalled from stores due to a possible microbiological risk related to the presence of salmonella . The recall notice was issued by the Esselunga chain.
The product involved is the vacuum-packed Salame Felino PGI from the Terre Ducali brand, made and packaged by Prosciuttificio San Michele srl , based in Lesignano de' Bagni (Parma). Each package weighs approximately 300 grams .
The batch subject to recall is identified by the number U2536016 , with expiry dates set at 11 November 2025 and 25 November 2025 .
The notice, dated November 6 , specifies that the recall was issued as a precaution due to possible salmonella contamination. Consumers who purchased the product are advised not to consume it and to return it to the place of purchase for an exchange or refund.
