Referendum, Cdx attacks: "The left makes electoral commercials on the tragedy of Gaza. Shameful violation"

Controversy is mounting after yesterday's pro-Gaza demonstration attended by the main exponents of the exposition: the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein, the leader of the Five Star Movement Giuseppe Conte, Angelo Bonelli and Nicola Fratoianni. The words they pronounced at the end of their speeches in which, from the stage in Piazza San Giovanni in Rome, all the opposition leaders shouted in chorus: "We had forgotten... Let's all go vote on June 8 and 9!" have sparked discussion.
The Center-right immediately reacted, speaking of a violation of the electoral silence, denouncing the Left's ads. "As we had widely suspected," thundered Lucio Malan, leader of the FdI group in the Senate, "the left-wing demonstration on Gaza was a tool to campaign for the referendum on the day of pause and reflection before the vote." His colleague in the Chamber, Galeazzo Bignami, said that "it is shameful to use the tragedy of Gaza to make an appeal to vote." And Maurizio Gasparri, leader of the FI group in the Senate, also spoke of a "shameful violation": "This illegal appeal qualifies them as authentic cheats," he added.
