Record-breaking US Open, $5 million for the winner

The 2025 US Open, the final Grand Slam of the season, scheduled for August 24 to September 7, will have the highest prize money in tennis history. Players will share a record $90 million , a 20% increase from the already record-breaking $75 million won last year by Jannik Sinner .
How much will go to the winners?The winners of the men's and women's singles events will each receive $5 million, a 39% increase from $3.6 million in 2024. Prize money will also increase for finalists ($2.5 million, up 39%), semifinalists ($1.26 million, up 26%), and quarterfinalists ($660,000, up 25%) or round of 16 finishers ($400,000, up 23%). The first round is worth $110,000, just under €95,000.
A million dollars to whoever wins doublesThe prize pool for the men's and women's doubles tournaments has risen to $4.78 million (up 23% from $3.89 million in 2024). The winning pairs will receive a $1 million check, the same amount as the mixed doubles winners. The share of the prize pool for the qualifying tournament has also grown: $8 million, a 10% increase over the 2024 edition.
