Swimming: Futura athlete at the Italian Summer Championships

Prato, August 3, 2025 – Chianciano Terme is welcoming Italy's best male and female swimmers for the Italian Swimming Championships in the "Boys" and "Juniors" categories. The Futura team is also represented, along with the city of Prato: thanks to young Vittoria Gestri, who earned her bronze medal in the 100m butterfly a few days ago at the regional championships in Livorno (a competition also attended by her teammates Niccolò Barni, Marta Bennati, Achille Campani, Sofia Giraldi, Leonardo Giusti, Vittorio Lanubile, Martina Mucci, Alessia Mazzoni, Giulia Poggiolesi, Iole Rindi, Chiara Tasselli, Alberto Paoli Alberto, Alessio Rrotani, and Duccio Vaiani), she has qualified. "Vittoria has earned the right to participate in the Italian 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle races in this event, which features Italy's strongest swimmers," commented Futura President Roberto Di Carlo. "This is an important debut for Vittoria Gestri who, accompanied by her coach Fabio Cardini, is bringing excellent results into the 2024/2025 competitive season."
