According to the Europa Press news agency, the former US president's office reported in an official statement on May 18 that Joe Biden was diagnosed with an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones .

"Former President Joe Biden was examined last week after detecting a new prostate lump, following an increase in urinary symptoms ," the statement said.

On May 16, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer with a score of 9 on the Gleason scale, classified in Group 5 , “with bone metastasis ”.

Although it is a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, allowing for more effective medical management. Biden and his family are currently evaluating treatment options with his medical team.
