Four days off: when is the next holiday in November 2025

Next month brings another long weekend, perfect for making the most of your time off. The tourism sector is rubbing its hands together and starting to offer unbeatable packages.
2025 is drawing to a close, and many Argentinians are already looking at the calendar to take advantage of one of the last long weekends of the year . November will offer an ideal opportunity to relax or plan a getaway before the end of the year.
According to official information published by the national government on argentina.gob.ar, November will feature four consecutive days off , the result of a holiday being moved and a non-working day for tourism purposes. Meanwhile, a long weekend is coming up, perfect for a getaway.
This period generates great anticipation among workers and the tourism sector, as long weekends usually boost the local economy , especially in short break destinations, and allow a break before the end of the work and school year.
According to the official schedule, Friday, November 21, 2025, will be a non-working day for tourism purposes, also known as a "long weekend." Meanwhile, Monday, November 24, will be moved to commemorate National Sovereignty Day , originally scheduled for Thursday, November 20.
This creates an extra-long weekend that will include Friday the 21st, Saturday the 22nd, Sunday the 23rd and Monday the 24th of November , marking the last extended break of the year.

The confirmation was made through the official Government website, which details all national holidays and non-working days in effect during 2025, allowing both the private and public sectors to plan ahead.
What is the difference between a national holiday and a non-working day for tourism purposes?During national holidays, whether fixed or movable, Sunday rest must be respected, and if an employee works on those days, he is entitled to receive double his usual salary for that working day.
On the other hand, a non-working day is one in which the employer has the power to decide whether or not to work .
Unlike national holidays, on non-working days there is no obligation to suspend work activities, and employees who work on those days will receive a normal salary, without the additional pay corresponding to the holiday worked.
To illustrate with an example: this is what happens on Holy Thursday (no classes, banking services or public administration) and Good Friday (holiday).
