5-month-old Borys and his 17-year-old mother, Oliwia, disappeared without a trace. Police are in action.

The Gliwice Municipal Police Headquarters is conducting operations to locate five-month-old Borys Pierzchała, a resident of Przyszowice (Silesia). The boy is currently in the care of his seventeen-year-old mother, Oliwia Pierzchała.

5-month-old Borys and 17-year-old Oliwia are missing

The disappearance occurred on August 19, 2025. According to the report filed by the teenager's legal guardian, on that day Oliwia took the child from the foster care where they had both been previously.

Since then, their whereabouts remain unknown. The search was initiated because the young mother lacks the necessary skills or resources to care for her son on her own.

Description of Olivia

At the time of her disappearance, Oliwia was wearing a black long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, light-colored jeans, and white athletic shoes. She had long, loose black hair. She was carrying a black stroller and a black handbag.

The police point out that "any piece of information, even seemingly minor, may be of crucial importance."

Anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the missing Oliwia Pierzchała or her son is asked to immediately contact the officer on duty at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gliwice at 47 859 22 55, or the nearest Police unit by calling the emergency number 112.
