Experts: criticism of Karol Nawrocki's daughter beyond the boundaries of law and decency
Some Internet users criticized the – in their opinion: too casual – behavior of the president-elect's seven-year-old daughter, Kasia, who stood on stage with her family on election night during her father's speech.
The Ombudsman for Children's Rights has already intervened in the matter of the comments. Monika Horna-Cieślak appealed to report cases of posts or recordings that require a response to her office address: [email protected]. "I do not agree to violence against children, hate speech, hate. No child can be attacked or insulted," she wrote on social media. In turn, Minister of Internal Affairs Tomasz Siemoniak declared in a Thursday interview on Radio Zet that "the appropriate services will act" in this matter. The experts commenting on it agree: such action is a crime for which criminal liability may be imposed.
