Stargard Days. Lots of attractions

This weekend marks the beginning of the Stargard Days. The programme includes concerts, a colourful historical parade, a marathon of sports games and activities and a motorcycle parade.
To open the city festival, the outstanding Polish pianist Rafał Blechacz, winner of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in 2005, performed at SCK on Wednesday. The concert was free. Residents will also not pay to enter the event, which is scheduled for Friday, June 6, in the Stargard amphitheater. Maryla Rodowicz, the queen of the Polish music scene and one of the most popular vocalists of the young generation, Dawid Kwiatkowski, will perform there. Orchestra Marini and Małgorzata Nowak and Mateusz Tarkowski will support.
Two hours earlier, at 5 p.m., the Stargard Library invites you to a meeting with Marek Kamiński.
June 7 is a sports day. The Stargard Sports and Recreation Centre invites you to Szczecińska Street. There will be competitions, tournaments, shows, races, etc. The main accent of the sports day is the International Street Race for the Blue Ribbon.

A permanent element of the sports day is the Motorcycle Parade, which will take place for the 16th time. Motorcyclists from MOTO STARGARD and members of the Stargard Motor Club invite you. The parade will start at 5 p.m., and from 3 p.m. - presentations of vehicles in front of the OSiR Stargard hall.
As part of the Stargard Days, the Stargard Bike Rally will also take place on Saturday. Meeting - parking lot in front of the OSiR Stargard hall at 10:00. The route leads towards the Industrial Park, then along bike paths towards Miedwie. The event is supervised by the Stargard na Rowery association.
On Sunday, June 8, the Stargard Museum is organizing the 3rd Stargard Parade of History, a colorful parade in which residents, reenactors, and enthusiasts take on the roles of heroes of the past. It begins at 1:30 p.m. on the Old Town Square.
- This year's edition of the Stargard Procession of History will recall two breakthrough moments in the history of Poland and Stargard: the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław the Brave and the 380th anniversary of the great fire of Stargard in 1635 - informs the Archaeological and Historical Museum in Stargard.
There will be four stops during the march (Old Town Square, Church of St. John the Baptist, Pyrzycka Gate, Summer Theatre), during which fragments of the history of Poland and our city will be told.
On June 8 at 4 p.m. you can go to the presidential concert of the Camerata Stargard Orchestra at the collegiate church.
During the Stargard Days, there are one-zloty entrances to Bastei, SCK cinema, AquaStar and Filary. On Saturday and Sunday, public transport will also be free.
