Mielno commune is the only one in the province with voter turnout over 80 percent.

The seaside commune of Mielno is the only one in West Pomerania where voter turnout in the first round of the presidential election exceeded 80 percent, according to data published on Monday by the National Electoral Commission.
In the Mielno commune, 80.47 percent of those eligible voted. This is the highest voter turnout in West Pomerania.
None of the other communes in the province, according to the National Electoral Commission, exceeded the 80 percent threshold. In the previous presidential elections, three coastal communes achieved this in the first round. At that time, the highest turnout belonged to the coastal commune of Rewal. 85.56 percent of eligible voters cast their votes there. The second result of 84.90 percent belonged to the commune of Mielno, and the third to the commune of Dziwnów. There, 80.85 percent of eligible voters cast their votes.
In six communes of the province, the turnout exceeded 70 percent in Sunday's elections. This happened in the communes of Rewal (79.47 percent), Dobra in the Police district (76.53 percent), Ustronie Morskie (76.37 percent), Dziwnów (75.74 percent), Kobylanka (74.88 percent) and Kołbaskowo (70.32 percent).
The highest turnout among the counties was achieved by the Police district with a result of 69.66 percent. In the previous presidential elections it also came first. Then, with a turnout of 67.86 percent.
In cities with county rights the turnout was as follows: in Szczecin – 69.33%, in Koszalin – 67.52% and in Świnoujście – 66.53%.
In West Pomerania, 63.43% of eligible voters cast their ballots. There were 1 million 241 thousand 872 of them in the province. This is almost 2 percentage points higher than 5 years ago, and at that time there were almost 800 thousand more eligible voters.
