Nearly PLN 90,000 in support for the Jarosław clinic. Will this not jeopardize investments in lighting?

At the beginning of April, the Jarosław district asked the Jarosław local government for financial assistance for the Psychological and Pedagogical Counseling Center in Jarosław. The purchase of a system for conducting audio-psychophonological therapy based on the Tomatis method would be invaluable support for this facility. The method of Prof. Alfred Tomatis affects both the improvement of auditory perception and permanent voice modification. Thanks to over 300 ready-made therapeutic programs, this system is able to effectively support children with disorders such as autism, Asperger's syndrome, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD and many others. The purchase of such a system will certainly enrich the offer of the facility and improve the quality of the services it provides, which will translate into a higher quality of life for many of its charges and their families. As argued, the Jarosław counseling center is one of the few facilities that provides free professional psychological, pedagogical and therapeutic help in the district, and over 2,000 children are under its care annually. As the needs for help and support related to the prevention of mental health disorders are growing at a rapid pace these days, the proposed support for the clinic seemed justified to the councillors.

Ewa Szpitman, the director of the clinic, who was present at the session, emphasized that the introduction of the Tomatis method will be a significant step in increasing the effectiveness of the facility’s operations.
