The whole situation took place last Friday, May 30, after 1 p.m. It was then that the police officer on duty received a report about the arrest of a driver, probably drunk. The incident was supposed to have taken place in Przeworsk Market Square. The patrol sent to the scene determined in a conversation with the reporting parties – a 42- and 49-year-old woman – that they had witnessed an Opel drive up to one of the local shops. According to the women, the driver got out of the car, approached them and started a conversation.

The man's babbling and unsteady gait could indicate that he was under the influence of alcohol. So the women decided to take the keys out of the ignition and call the police. A blood alcohol test confirmed the suspicions about the driver's sobriety. He blew almost 4 per mille.
