Al Pacino Joins Cast of "Maserati: The Brothers"The information about Al Pacino's participation in the film "Maserati: The Brothers" was given by Iervolino himself. As emphasized by the Variety portal, it has not yet been officially confirmed by the actor's representatives. Maserati - the icon of Italian motoringThe Maserati brand was founded in a Bologna garage by the three Maserati brothers: Alfieri, Ernesto and Ettore in 1914. The famous emblem adorning their cars was inspired by Neptune's trident from the fountain in their hometown.
From the very beginning, their cars took part in races. In 1927, the first racing car produced by the brothers' company, known as the Type 26, was driven by Alfieri Maserati, who almost died in the Messina Cup.
He died five years later from complications of the accident. In 1937, the brothers sold a controlling interest in the company, which is now owned by the Stellantis Group, a joint venture between the Italian-American company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the French group PSA
