Football. Goalless draw for women's Pogoń

After an impressive 5-0 opening win at Karłowicz, in the second round match, coach Piotr Łęczyński's team played out a goalless draw in the Tricity with the Gdańsk team, against whom they had beaten twice last season.
Women's football league: AP Orlen Gdańsk – Pogoń Szczecin 0:0
Pogoń: Natalia Radkiewicz – Alexis Legowski, Karolina Łaniewska (75′ Maja Leśkiewicz), Zuzanna Radochońska, Julia Brzozowska – Suzuka Yosue, Lena Świrska, Zofia Giętkowska (29′ Blanka Zając), Dakyeong Choi – Kornelia Okoniewska
From the opening minutes, Pogoń took the initiative, attacking primarily from the left flank, where Korean striker Choi was very active, driving the Szczecin team's play. In the 29th minute, things heated up in the opponents' penalty area, but Okoniewska headed a shot just wide, and four minutes later, goalkeeper Martina Geletova made a superb save after Okoniewska's shot. Klaudia Fabova and Weronika Tarnawska both had shots on target for Szczecin late in the first half.
After the break, the pattern of play remained largely unchanged, and for the final twenty minutes, Szczecin intensified their attack, keeping the ball in the opponents' half and creating numerous scoring opportunities. In added time, which ultimately lasted nine minutes despite the earlier announcement of six, play was mainly confined to the Gdańsk penalty area, with Pogoń continuing to attack, but either their shots went wide or Geletova remained unscathed. Ultimately, the match ended in a goalless draw, securing Orlen's first point of the season.
