Iga Świątek and Casper Ruud got off to a flying start at this year's US Open. The Pole and Norwegian pair gave Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe no chance in their first match, defeating the Americans 4-1, 4-2. A few dozen minutes later, they celebrated another victory, this time defeating Caty McNally, who was playing against Lorenzo Musetti. Moments after their matches, they spoke to the media, and a hilarious video appeared on Eurosport.

At one point, Świątek and Ruud showed the WTA No. 2's famous gesture, adding a word she's known for repeating. "Go!" they both shouted at the same time.

"Casper Ruud, as you can see, is already feeling the effects of being with Iga Świątek," wrote Eurosport on the X platform.

The Pole and the Norwegian are now just two matches away from winning the tournament. It won't be easy, however, as Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper will now face each other. The semifinals of this year's tournament will be played Wednesday night, shortly after midnight CT. The winner of this clash will face the best of the two: Danielle Collins/Christian Harrison vs. Sara Errani/Andrea Vavassori.
