A cozy seaside settlement. It has a viewing tower, a cliff and a beautiful beach.

Orzechowo Morskie, because we are talking about it, is a tiny town, also called a settlement. We can find it in the northern part of the country in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, near Ustka. Although it is not known even to fans of such intimate resorts as Stegna or Rowy, it is worth visiting. There are not only a beach and sea, but also other attractions.
Orzechowo by the Polish seasideIt is worth coming to Orzechowo if you are looking for untouched nature and a quiet beach. It is also a place for people who want to escape from the tempting souvenir stalls or local delicacies on every side. It will be peaceful and beautiful. Although the local beach is quite narrow, it is enough to spread a blanket and listen to the sound of the waves.
The 25-meter cliff, beech forest, dunes, the winding and charming Orzechówka River and the 48-meter-high observation tower are impressive on site – it is free and is located only 200 meters from the sea. In addition, we will find the forest educational trail "Orzechowska Wydma" and routes adapted for cyclists.
The areas are often used by foresters, but also by photographers who want to take unique photo sessions. There, you certainly won't be bothered by crowds or noise. The area is good to explore by bike - you will find there, among others, paths leading from Ustka to Poddąbie. There is also no shortage of intimate accommodation, and staying there will certainly not be expensive. The most popular local facility is the Leśnik Training and Recreation Center.
Fans of seaside resorts and nature will be interested in the fact that there used to be a lagoon lake in Orzechów. It could be observed all the way to the border of the village of Przewłoka. We are talking about ancient times dating back to King Mieszko I. In addition, there was a port in the marshes in this place, from which a group of outlaws defended access to the settlement.
The legend of Anna Eldorado is also associated with this period, who, in alliance with the Vital Brothers and Swedish corsairs, was supposed to have been robbing Hanseatic ships sailing to Ustka for decades. Even then, the local cliff was used for this purpose. In the 19th century, Orzechowo was famous for the horseback riding trips of Emperor Otto von Bismarck, who spent his holidays there. During World War II, the Orzechowo Dunes were used as a shooting range for German crews for shooting practice.
