Silves Open Air Theatre Cycle returns to parishes in June and July

The 3rd edition of the Open Air Theatre Cycle of the Municipality of Silves, which will take the shows full of humour, magic and music «O Grande Fiasco» and «Sopas de Pão» to the different parishes, starts on the 27th of June.

The parish of Pêra is hosting the first session of the comic magic show “The Great Fiasco”, which will take place on June 27th, at 9:30 pm, in the outdoor space of the Pêra Sports Centre.

On June 28th, “The Great Fiasco” promises to bring fun to the parish of Algoz, starting at 9:30 pm, in the parish council square.

"The Great Fiasco" will surprise the audience with a show of comic magic, music and clowning . The failed magician and the musician who only plays major chords will entertain the audience with magic tricks and illusions that are not always successful.

The comedy show «Sopas de Pão», revives the tradition of street theater, improvisation and circus arts skills, bringing humor and entertainment to the whole family.

The initiative promoted by Silves City Council , with free entry, brings the art of theatre, normally presented on stage, to the population and visitors in unusual or conventional spaces, creating new experiences and sensations for the public in places that are common to them, in an accessible and culturally attractive performance register that encourages cultural appreciation, entertainment and reflection.
