At Karpaty, Jean recognizes that he has evolved and would like to stay in Ukraine, as he revealed in an interview with the club's TV channel in March of this year.

“I made it clear to everyone that I want to stay here. As I said, the club welcomed me with open doors. I moved here during a difficult period in my life, when I had no playing experience,” he said.

“I came here and felt important again, so my main goal is to stay here. Everyone knows that I want to stay here, I am happy here. I have adapted, my wife has adapted very well to the city, so my main goal is to stay here,” Jean said in an interview with Karpaty’s official website.

Jean Pedroso was part of the Coritiba under-20 team that made history by winning the category's unprecedented Copa do Brasil in 2021, in addition to the 2022 Campeonato Paranaense. The defender was also champion with the Brazilian team in the South American under-20 championship in 2023 and was in the squad that played in the World Cup in the same year.

However, for Coxa, his professional debut was in a 0-0 draw with Santos, on June 10, 2023, for the Brazilian Championship. Since then, he has had few chances.
