Giant screen and stands to watch football at Rossio

Football fans will be able to watch the first Club World Cup matches from today in the Fan Zone Square that Aveiro City Council has set up in Rossio. The competition, which will be held in the United States of America until 13 July, will feature two Portuguese teams, Benfica and FC Porto, who will each play three matches in the first phase.
The square, featuring a giant screen, stands and beverage outlets, follows the model of the Fan Zone created for Euro'2024. The aim, says the local authority, is to "provide moments of conviviality and support for the various clubs" that will participate in the competition, contested by a total of 32 teams.
