Benfica beat Real 5-3 in a match in which they had to overcome some setbacks and which was marked by the tribute to the 9 players of the team who were European Under-17 champions for Portugal.

The Eagles came out on top and took the lead through Gil Neves (6'), but Real, playing on the counterattack, turned the game around thanks to goals from Manuel Martins (13') and Diogo Chasqueira (17'). Benfica responded before half-time through José Neto (29') and Tomás Soares (36' and 45+2').

In the second half, Benfica controlled, but Real reduced the deficit from a penalty (Jaylen Jones, 70'), leaving everything open until Dilan Neves (85') scored and kept the Eagles at the top with a 3-point lead with 2 games to go.
