Portugal at full strength ahead of the final

The Portuguese national team completed their final training session today before tomorrow's Nations League final against Spain, with Gonçalo Ramos returning and leaving Roberto Martínez with all the players available. The forward missed Friday's session after being allowed to travel to Lisbon to attend the birth of his son, but returned to Munich, Germany, this morning and was at the disposal of the national coach. The training session took place at one of Bayern Munich's training centres, which is usually used by the Bavarian women's team, and Roberto Martínez had all 23 outfield players called up, plus the three goalkeepers. This means that Portugal will be at full strength for the fourth final in its history, in which it will attempt to repeat its Nations League triumph, something it achieved in 2019, in the first edition, which took place in Porto. As usual, and with a lot of rain and some cold weather, the first 15 minutes of the session were open, with the national team doing the usual warm-up exercises, first with running, then stretching and finally with the ball, with the goalkeepers, unlike usual, working with the field players. Noteworthy was the presence at the training session of the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, Pedro Proença, who was accompanied by Domingos Paciência and Toni, members of the organization's board.
Portugal-Spain, the fourth final in the history of Portuguese football and the first in Iberia, is scheduled for 8 pm Portuguese time, at the Allianz Arena, in Munich, and will be refereed by the Swiss Sandro Scharer.
