At the preseason kickoff, Sporting coach Nuno Dias didn't shy away from his responsibility and aimed to regain the title. "This year we can't say we have to keep winning. We're going to say we have to win again. That starts now, and everyone will be invaluable," said the 52-year-old coach.

Among the new faces in the green and white squad, the return to Portugal of winger Bruno Pinto stands out. "I've been imagining this for a long time. As players, we always have the goal of representing the best clubs in the world... and Sporting CP is one of them," confessed the 31-year-old, who played for Benfica between 2013 and 2020.

Sp. Braga makes Turé official

Meanwhile, Mamadú Turé is Sp. Braga's first signing for the 2025/26 season. The 26-year-old Portuguese international winger arrives at the Minho side after three seasons with Leões de Porto Salvo. "I'm very happy to be joining Sp. Braga and fulfilling my career goal of playing for a great club that has all the conditions to compete for titles," the winger told club media.

"I want to continue my development and help my teammates fight for our goals," added the player who came through the ranks at Sporting.
