Murmansk woman to get 9 years for husband's murder

The Murmansk Regional Court upheld the sentence of a local resident who was found guilty by a jury of murdering her husband.

As the United Press Service writes, the crime occurred in April 2024 during a quarrel, during which the woman fatally stabbed her husband.

The court sentenced the defendant to 9 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. The defendant's appeal was rejected.
