Putin also expressed hope for further strengthening of relations between the countries in order to ensure security throughout the Eurasian space.
Cooperation between Moscow and Astana continues to strengthen in various areas. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of joint projects in the economy, energy and humanitarian spheres.
On Victory Day, May 9, Vladimir Putin also handed Tokayev an award sheet from his father, who was once awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. During the official ceremony, the Russian leader presented the head of Kazakhstan with an official message confirming the award of this honorary title.
