Putin praised Tokayev's contribution to strengthening cooperation

MOSCOW, May 17 — RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Kazakhstan leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, highly appreciating his contribution to strengthening cooperation between the countries, and expressed confidence that relations between the states will continue to develop fruitfully for the benefit of the fraternal peoples.

"Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your birthday. We highly value your personal contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between our states... I sincerely wish you, dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, good health, prosperity and success in your state activities," the telegram says.
The President expressed confidence that relations between the states “will continue to develop fruitfully for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of Russia and Kazakhstan, in the interests of ensuring security and stability in the Eurasian space.”
