Veliky Novgorod breaks November temperature record of 1967

A new November temperature record has been set in Veliky Novgorod. Yesterday, Novgorod forecasters recorded a temperature of +9.7°C, breaking the 1967 record of +9.4°C. Weather experts had been expecting this, recalling November 1930, but this November fell just short of the record on the 5th .
The start of the new work week is expected to be cloudy, with light rain expected in some areas of the region. Temperatures will fluctuate little over the next 24 hours, ranging from 2°C to 7°C. Southwesterly winds will blow at 2-7 m/s. The first wet snow is forecast for next Saturday, with below-freezing temperatures expected on Sunday. Incidentally, a high of 9°C is predicted for Friday, November 15th, which is certainly a record-breaking high.
In Veliky Novgorod tomorrow there will be light rain, the temperature at night will be +4…+6°C, during the day +5…+7°C.
