An invasion of snakes is observed in the cities of Primorsky Krai. The reptiles have literally filled public spaces, Amur Mash reports.
Eyewitnesses witnessed an unusual scene in the city of Nakhodka. Pigeons attacked a snake on the roadway. Residents complain about the large number of snakes that are found on sidewalks and roads. The reptiles often hide from people under cars. Such an incident occurred in Vladivostok.
There is also a snake boom in Nakhodka. People are complaining en masse about the swarming of creepers. They are making their way into entrances and private homes. Residents believe that the reason is the high, unmown grass in the city. In some courtyards, utility services have not dealt with this issue for two years.
There are 10 species of snakes in Primorye, experts say. Only three of them are poisonous and pose a threat to humans.
