South African priest announces date of Second Coming

South African priest Joshua Mhlakela claimed to have received a revelation from Jesus Christ during a vision. According to him, Jesus said he would return to Earth on September 23 and 24, 2025. These dates coincide with the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, known as the Feast of Trumpets.

Mhlakela urged his congregation to prepare for the apocalypse. The video of his speech quickly went viral on social media, with nearly half a million views. Some believers have already begun selling their possessions in anticipation of the Second Coming and the rapture of all Christians.

However, skeptics recall that the Bible speaks of the suddenness of Christ's return. Earlier, similar prophecies about the imminent end of the world were made by a ghost with whom the British woman communicated for more than 12 years - he predicted the apocalypse for May 2025 due to a nuclear or space catastrophe
