Astrakhan footballers lost away to Sochi reserves

The team from the Caspian capital conceded both goals in the first half.

In the 22nd round of the national football championship among teams of Group 1 Division B of the 2nd League, Astrakhan played away against Sochi-2. The team from the resort city scored 2 goals against Astrakhan goalkeeper Anatoly Krasilnikov before the break – midfielder Dmitry Shilov and forward Yegor Totsky distinguished themselves.

No matter how hard the “townspeople” tried, they were unable to win back, 2:0 – victory for “Sochi-2”.

Currently, Astrakhan is in 9th place, with 30 points. On August 20, as part of the Russian Cup, Andranik Babayan's team will host Pobeda from Khasavyurt at their stadium. And three days later, the Astrakhan team will play Spartak from Nalchik at home in the 23rd round of the Division B championship of the 2nd league.
