Kaluga hosts Russian Nordic Walking Grand Prix

It opened yesterday, August 16, in the Kaluga Sports School "Orlyonok". The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Kaluga Ministry of Sports Oleg Serdyukov and the president of the Russian Nordic Walking Federation Sergey Meshcheryakov.

They measured their strength in Nordic skills – competitions in Nordic walking techniques

18 women and 15 men. The winners were representatives of the Voronezh, Belgorod, Smolensk regions and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, on the second day of the competition, the participants will have a 10 km pursuit race and a 2 km fun run. The Kaluga team will also take part in it.
