Astrakhan water polo players won bronze medals at Russian championship

The men's water polo team from Astrakhan beat the capital's team "MKSShOR Vostok".

The Astrakhan water polo team "Dynamo-SShOR", playing in the Super League, won bronze medals, defeating the capital's team "MKSShOR Vostok".

As reported by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Astrakhan Region, the men's water polo team beat their rivals from Moscow with a score of 9:7 in the final series up to three victories and took 3rd place in the Super League of the Russian Championship.

The Governor of the Astrakhan Region, Igor Babushkin, congratulated the athletes, as well as the coaching staff and fans who supported the team throughout the season, on their bronze awards:

"Guys, we are proud of you and we are waiting for you to come home with medals!"
