Lokomotiv wins third match of Gagarin Cup final

The Yaroslavl hockey club Lokomotiv won the third match of the Gagarin Cup final series. The match took place in Chelyabinsk, at the home arena of Traktor.

The match was very difficult for both teams. Unfortunately, there were some rough moves, provocations and fistfights.

The home team opened the scoring in the first period, but before the end of the first period, after a tough fight, Artur Kayumov scored an accurate shot into the opponent's goal, leveling the score.

The second period was Lokomotiv's. First, Byron Frez, with the help of the recovered Panik and Nikita Kiryanov, accurately put the puck into the opponent's goal. Then the same line once again made an effective attack. Frez and Simashev gave accurate passes. Kiryanov was the author of the goal.

In the third period, Traktor managed to score another goal at the beginning of the game segment. But Kayumov, with a pass from Ivanov and mediation from Sergeyev, made a double. And in the very final of the match, Bereglazov scored a goal into an empty net and became the author of the winning goal.

The result of the meeting is 2-5 in favor of Lokomotiv. The result in the series is 2-1 in favor of Lokomotiv. The next match is again in Chelyabinsk, on May 19.
