Vladimir's Baikov family performed brilliantly at the All-Russian GTO festival

The Baikov family from Vladimir returned with medals from the main sports festival of the country that ended in Cheboksary. Our fellow countrymen competed with 54 families from all over Russia and showed excellent results, the press service of the regional government reported. Particular success awaited the mother of the family Nadezhda, who took second place in the 60-meter race.

The Baikovs have already won the regional stage of the GTO festival four times. The head of the family, Alexey, is fond of football, marathons and triathlon. Nadezhda is involved in track and field and has a first category. Their children have also achieved high sports results. Their son Viktor is a Russian record holder, and the youngest Emelyan is involved in judo. Together with his grandmother Irina Arkadyevna, they have proven that sport unites all generations.
