EuroBasket 2025: Türkiye makes it two out of two, beating Czech Republic

Türkiye defeated the Czech Republic 92-78 in its second group match at the FIBA Men's European Championship (EuroBasket 2025).
The National Team won their second match in Group A.
Türkiye beat tournament hosts Latvia 93-73 in the first match.
In the match played at Arena Riga in Riga, the Czech Republic closed the first quarter with a 27-21 lead thanks to shots from behind the three-point line.
The Turkish national team started the second quarter well offensively, holding the Czech Republic to 10 points defensively. Türkiye led 45-37 at halftime.
In a match that was intensely physical, the national team took control in the second half and won the match 92-78.
Alperen Şengün made a big difference for Türkiye with 23 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one steal.
Captain Cedi Osman and Ercan Osmani contributed significantly to the victory with 21 points and 16 points, respectively.
