Artificial Intelligence: Meta plans to invest billions in AI start-up

According to a media report, Meta is in talks about an investment in the artificial intelligence startup Scale AI, which could exceed ten billion dollars. Terms of the deal have not yet been finalized and are subject to change, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter. Scale AI declined to comment. Meta did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. Scale AI is a startup founded in 2016 and backed by Nvidia, Amazon, and Meta. It was recently valued at nearly 14 billion dollars.
