She is cut from the same cloth as those audacious, determined, eternally optimistic women, ready to move mountains and draw a legion of loyal followers in her wake. "Follow me if you love me" could be her motto. Like a wise person eager to share their experiences with loved ones, she is a community as devoted to her ready-to-wear and tableware brand, La Double J – named as a nod to her surname, JJ Martin – as they are to her numerous spiritual rituals ( yoga , Vipassana meditation , sound healing, etc.). The designer is not content with simply being "hooked" on these practices; she has already led nearly 200 workshops on well-being, contemplation, and mindfulness in exceptional locations such as Egyptian temples, the Brazilian jungle, and the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona.
