Lungomare di libri in Bari, 70 events and many guests

I am alone some of the guests who will liven up Bari from 27th to 29th June the fifth edition of Lungomare di libri, the cultural initiative organized by the Turin International Book Fair. The This year's theme is 'Liberations', a tribute to the eightieth anniversary of the liberation from Nazism, but also to the liberation from injustice, abuse and conflicts our days. Bari will be transformed into an open-air library overlooking on the sea thanks to the presence of 25 bookshops and publishers of the territory present along the old city wall and in symbolic places of the city. The presentation took place this morning in the presence, among others, of the mayor Vito Leccese, of the municipal councilor for Culture Paola Romano and the General Secretary of the Turin Book Fair, Marco Pautasso. There are more than 70 events scheduled, including meetings, exhibitions, in-depth moments, readings and activities for the little ones. New this year is the presence of a guest editor, it is Voland, who will bring his story and his catalogue. For the first time there will also be a morning meeting, on the 28th June, or the Post press review with the director editorial Luca Sofri and journalist Luca Misculin. New is also the collaboration with the Jean Monnet centre of excellence digitimpact of the Aldo Moro University. The preview, June 26 (6 pm) is entrusted to the exhibition 'Other Views. Images of the madness between memory and project' by photojournalist Uliano Lucas which, in the Civic Museum, until August 31st will offer a journey through psychiatric hospitals and mental health centers throughout Italy.
