AC Milan bid farewell to coach Conceição

Coach Sérgio Conceição is leaving AC Milan. The Milan club announced that the collaboration with the Portuguese coach will not be continued.
AC Milan finished eighth in Serie A under Conceição. They also lost the Coppa Italia final to Bologna, meaning the club missed out on European football.
Conceição was appointed at the end of December last year as successor to his compatriot Paulo Fonseca, who was also in his first season as coach in Milan.
